INSTRUCTIONS FOR MASSES:  Please arrive about 20 minutes prior to the end of the service - if you are signed up for a 5:30 Mass, please show up around 6:10PM.  One of the parents will be designated the Table Captain for the Mass.  The Table Captain is responsible for the order sheet for the mass (will be on a clipboard), for the inventory issued to the table, and for the petty cash to be used as change for sales.  The Table Captain needs to take a beginning and
ending inventory, and keep track of each sale on its own line on the order sheet.  The Table Captain will also write down the names of the boys supporting that table.  The Table Captain needs to return the master order sheet, the product and the cash/check receipts to the Popcorn Chair (Gerry Samchuck) or the field sales Field Marshall (Steve Schwartz).

If your son is supporting a table and you are not the Table Captain - ENSURE YOUR SON'S NAME IS ON THE LIST.

Credit for sales at Masses is allocated across all boys participating on a share basis - each Mass supported earns a share - if your son supports 3 Masses in a weekend, he will receive three shares of credit.  An accounting will be performed at the end of the weekend and an email containing the lines and amounts you can enter on your son's order sheet and into the online system will be sent to the email listed for you in Scouttrack.

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 8

Click here to return to the home page.

We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church, and we belong to the Apache Division of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. For a guide to Pack 8 for 2009/2010 - click here.

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join our Pack, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting Troops. Contact Scoutmaster Mark Spisak for information on how to join Troop 8.

We'd love to hear from you!

You can contact Mike Husak Cubmaster via email or at 704.264.5893.
