For all of you new to Pack 8\, and those of you coming back from a great summer\, please join us at our 4th annual Watermelon Festival - we'll have swimming\, a GPS course\, the BB Range will be open\, games\, watermelon\, and a campfire! Join Pack 8 for some low-key camping at Stone Mountain State Park. If you'd like to join us\, please send an e-mail to Outdoor Activities Chair Mr. Fanning here and let us know your name\, Den number (or new to the Pack) and how many are coming.

There is no cost for this event\, but you'll have to provide your own food. We'll sponsor a hike\, and you can go fishing\, see the historic exhibits and try your hand at rock climbing available at the Park.

We'll also see if there are any geo-cache's available (so bring your GPS\, if you have one).
