Adventure Base 100/Mecklenberg Council Camper Expo

Get ready, this is a fantastic event being put on jointly between the Mecklenburg Council and Boy Scouts of America showcasing 100 years of scouting! The event will be held at Carowinds and runs from April 9th through April 11th (10am - 6pm each day). This is a Camping Event so Pack 8 will take registrations to camp on the Carowinds Grounds - this will definitely be a great time. We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church, and we belong to the Apache Division of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. For a guide to Pack 8 for 2009/2010 - click here.

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join our Pack, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting Troops. Contact Scoutmaster Mark Spisak for information on how to join Troop 8.
