Pack 8 Watermelon Festival!

Join Pack 8 at our start of year celebration, the Watermelon Festival!

Existing scouts, new scouts, and those families considering Cub Scouting are all welcome to join us for a day of fun and games at Belk Scout Camp in nearby Mint Hill.

The BB Gun Safety Range, Archery Range, swimming pool and fishing hole will all be open for business. We'll have dinner (burgers and dogs) and a campfire - bring your tent if you'd like and stay overnight.

We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church, and we belong to the Apache Division of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. For a guide to Pack 8 for 2009/2010 - click here.

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join our Pack, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting Troops. Contact Scoutmaster Mark Spisak for information on how to join Troop 8.
