We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church. We belong to the Apache District part of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Pack 8 just earned its qualification for the Pope Paul VI Catholic Quality Unit Award - this award recognizes achievement by the Pack through more than 25% of Cub Scouts earning their corresponding religious award & knot, adherence to Diocesian and BSA leadership and training requirements, performing service projects for its chartering Church & community, participation in religous activities, and learning about church-related vocations. Those Cub Scouts who have earned their religious award and/or knot are entitled to wear the National Catholic Quality Unit Award patch - great job, Pack 8!
