Bobcats Pinewood Derby Fun Run - January 17

While we're all disappointed that we had to reschedule the Pinewood Derby (to March 7, in case you hadn't heard), there is a unique opportunity to run your car before the January 17 Charlotte Bobcats Game! Please see the flyer on the ScoutTrack Bulletin Board (www.scouttrack.com) for details. Pack 8 is the primary BSA sponsor of this event (it's our track...) so we need some adult help if you have the afternoon free.

We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church, and we belong to the Apache Division of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. For a guide to Pack 8 for 2009/2010 - click here.

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join our Pack, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting Troops. Contact Scoutmaster Mark Spisak for information on how to join Troop 8.
