Requiscat in Pace - Vincent Dols

On January 1, 2009, Pack 8 lost a good leader and a great man when our committee chair, Vincent Dols, died unexpectedly overnight.

Vincent was a driving force in the Pack, with his ever-present smile and welcoming attitude. He ran the "business side" of Pack operations, and was one of the key people who helped make the Pack go.

Vincent is survived by his wife Shana and his Children Thomas (13), Christian (11) and Catherine Sofia (6). If you would like to help the family, please contact Christopher Kubala at 704 996 2043 or christopher.kubala.93@bc.edu.

We are Cub Scouts Pack 8, based near Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC. We are chartered by St. Matthew Catholic Church, and we belong to the Apache Division of the Mecklenburg Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. For a guide to Pack 8 for 2009/2010 - click here.

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join our Pack, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting Troops. Contact Scoutmaster Mark Spisak for information on how to join Troop 8.
